A family-owned business run by Sandra and Geoff Sloane, College Consulting offers expert advice and practical assistance to Australian student-athletes seeking US college opportunities.  Since we opened our doors in 2014, we have helped hundreds of talented student-athletes from around Australia, across multiple sports, with their US college journeys.  Our clients have gained scholarships and/or admission to some of the most prestigious universities in the US including Yale, Columbia, Cal Berkeley and UCLA, while others have landed at some great NCAA D1/D2/D3, NAIA and junior colleges.  

Combining our unique blend of skills from our professional backgrounds in law, public relations, sports administration and project management (plus video production and photography), we can offer families a full range of services tailored to their needs.  From advising on High School subject selections, to producing a video to showcase your athletic skills and reaching out to coaches, we can assist with all requirements to meet the demands of the complex and competitive college recruiting and admission processes.

As parents of a former NCAA D1 athlete, we are passionate about helping kids achieve their dream of playing the sport they love while studying for their tertiary degree, and experiencing life in another country.  We understand that high-achieving student-athletes (and their families!) are stretched for time and need guidance and support.  Our expertise, experience and hands-on help, alleviates the “college-recruiting” stress on busy families, and ensures the very best outcome for their student-athlete.
