Sandra Sloane

Sandra has a professional background in law, communications and sports administration. She is a graduate in Arts and Law from the University of Melbourne and a former lawyer. This legal background fosters her attention to detail and enhances her understanding of complex NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA recruiting and eligibility rules.

Sandra is also a communications specialist who worked for several years for international communications firm, The Rowland Company (the public relations arm of Saatchi & Saatchi). Her communications experience and excellent writing skills bring a high degree of professionalism to student-athlete recruiting campaigns and college applications.

With a passion for sport, sparked by many years of involvement with her children's sporting pursuits, Sandra reinvented her career as a sports administrator for Basketball Victoria for five years. She left BV in 2013 to start up College Consulting, as a result of helping her eldest daughter to obtain a full NCAA Div 1 college scholarship in the US. Being involved in this process developed her interest and subsequent expertise in US college athletic recruiting and admission applications.

To increase her understanding of the US College admissions process, Sandra attended the College Board's Summer Institute for International Admission Counsellors in Washington DC in 2014. She is a full member of IACAC and has a vast knowledge of the US College system and the attributes/profiles of many US colleges.
